King Celebration to Peer Into the Millennium The eighth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Leesburg will begin at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 on the courthouse lawn at King and Market streets with a performance by the Baha'i Chorale and an invocation by the Rev. Kent Jeter.

At 10:30 a.m., participants will march to the Douglass Community Center for refreshments and an 11:30 a.m. ceremony featuring several speakers. This year's theme is "Realizing the Dream in the New Millennium."
