Obituaries: Amrollah Moattar

March 19, 2002 - Amrollah Moattar Aliabadia of Bellevue died March 16, 2002, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. He was 76.

Mr. Aliabadi was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Iran. He married Mollokeh Sanaie in 1948 in Iran. He had lived in Bellevue for the past 24 years and had served as an officer in the Iranian Army until 1987.

Mr. Aliabadia was a member of the Bahai faith.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons Ron Moattar and Mansour Aliabadia and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held today from 1-3 p.m. at Green's Bellevue Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue. A reception will be held following burial. Gladys M. Lewellen
